Top 9 Most Beautiful Women in Sport

Alicia Sacramone
Another early starter, Alicia Sacramone started doing gymnastics when she was eight years old, even though she had started dancing three years earlier. She was just 16 when she first made the US national gymnastics team, and within six years, had won 12 medals, half of which were gold. Incredibly sexy, she was featured nude in a photograph of ESPN’s 2011 Body Issue. In the accompanying interview she discussed how her body had changed during her short but dramatic sporting career, and how this had affected her own self-perception.
Amy Taylor
Australian soccer star Amy Taylor (now Amy Duggan) is one of a rare breed of athletes. Unfortunately, even though she did incredibly well in her chosen sport of football, injuries that resulted from her particularly aggressive style of play eventually forced her to quit. However, her good looks did her proud in the end, and she got quite a lot of modeling jobs and ended up as a football commentator on television.
Anastasia Ashley
Part-time model, sometime television personality, and full-time surfer, Anastasia Ashley exploits her sexuality in a positive way. Born in California, and brought up in Hawaii, she was a child prodigy who started competing when she was only seven years old. Drawn to the ocean, she had learnt to swim by the time she was two, was body boarding when she was four, and started surfing at the tender age of six. Before she turned professional, she won more than 200 amateur surfing events including the NSSA National Championships when she was 16.
Carmelita Jeter
Certainly not just a pretty face, American sprinter Carmelita Jeter has shone in competition. A three-time Olympic medalist, she was also the 100 m IAAF world champion and she’s got lots of other medals hanging in her home. Amongst other things, she is the second-fastest woman who has ever run an official 100 m race. Dubbed the world’s fastest woman, she has sex appeal like no other.
Christina Vukicevic
Once one of the hottest hurdlers in the business, Norwegian Christina Vukicevic – once romantically involved with javelin thrower Andreas Thorkildsen – is also one of the few really good looking athletes who hasn’t gone out of her way to exploit her sexuality. However she does support walking and running as the best ways to get fit. She says we should all run “with pride” and keep our shoulders down and back. Open up the chest and arms at 90 degrees and relax the wrists. If you can run fast, it’s important to lift your knees as high as possible and keep clamping both back and abdominal muscles. Those are just a few of her tips – and see what she looks like.
Kiira Korpi
Kiira Korpi says, frankly, that she once found herself wanting to be the best figure skater in the world. Born in Finland, she got close to this goal and at 27 had been the Finnish national champion five times, and had won a number of other world-class championships. Widely thought to look a lot like the former Princess of Monaco, film star Grace Kelly, Kiira has also been described as “the most beautiful woman in figure skating.” She retired from professional skating in August 2015.

Lindsey Vonn
American alpine ski racer, Lindsey Vonn (born Kildow) has won four World Cup champs and she is only one of two women to have achieved this. And this doesn’t include a whole whack of other super-G and World Cup season titles. She’s a skiing super-star, having started the journey at age seven. She is also super-sexy, and as a result became the face of her sport in the USA. She has appeared on a number of top TV shows, has picked up numerous advertising endorsements, and for a couple of years dated top US golfer Tiger Woods. She has also done some quite successful modeling assignments.
Maria Sharapova
Currently ranked third in the world of tennis, Russian-born Maria Sharapova is the face of a number of fashion houses, including Cole Haan, and she is featured in adverts for top names including Nike, Canon and Prince. Named by Time magazine as one of the 30 legends of Women’s tennis, past, present and future in 2011, she now lives in Florida. Like so many super-stars, she began planning her sport at a young age, when she was just four years old.
Stacy Keibler
A former professional wrestler, Stacy Keibler has also made a name as an American actress and model. She has appeared on several television shows, including Dancing with the Stars where she ended up in third position. She has incredibly long legs, and because of this, was nicknamed “the weapon of mass seduction” by judge Bruno Tonioli when she appeared in Dancing with the Stars with Tony Dovolani. She was a professional wrestler from 1999 until 2006 and has a number of signature moves. She is now better known as an actress.
